Well recently I upgraded my droid and its all good now, no visible bugs though.
Although I'd like to alert you: THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THE RISKS OF IT, AND ARE STILL READY TO SO IT !
If you are, then you are good to go.
I followed steps on iGyaan for the 2.2 upgrade: Link here
And for 2.3.7, I referred 2 sites: Site1 and Site2. [Or if you are good just go with the first one.]
I wanted to prevent the entire steps and make it an extra large post.
Let me know if you have any problems with the installation, will try to help, because I had a bug too and I did fix it.
